Support Mobile Clinics in Syria
Story
Support SEMA's mobile clinics to deliver health care to thousands of IDPs in Northwestern Syria
Impact
Through this campaign, SEMA aims at securing the needed fund that will contribute to expanding the medical coverage of these mobile clinics in Syria's northern region where displaced people reside, and it also aims at maintaining the provision of services as well as increasing the quality of the provided services. In addition, the purpose of this campaign is to establish a new mobile clinic, which would increase the number of reached beneficiaries with the free medical services.
Challenge
Around 5 million people are residing here in northwest Syria, in a closed area with limited resources. Among them, there are more than 1.5 million children, 189 thousand orphans, 36 thousand widows, and two million displaced people living in tents and suffering from absence of the minimum life necessities and health services. They mainly depend on humanitarian aid to meet their daily needs especially with the lack of job opportunities and their poor financial situation.
