Food insecurity and malnutrition are the main drivers behind the number of people in need. 16.2 million people will go hungry this year (Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) Phase 3 or higher). This includes 5 million people facing emergency conditions (IPC Phase 4) and nearly 50,000 who were already experiencing catastrophe conditions (IPC Phase 5). Over 2.25 million cases of children aged 0 to 59 months, and more than a million pregnant and lactating women are projected to suff.

Since 1992, Shaishav has been committed to realising the basic rights of children, particularly the underprivileged. At present, we are working toward creating a Child Rights Training and Resource Center, which will be used as a safe space for children and youth to learn and grow in, as well as used for trainings and supplementary tutoring classes. We already have the space (generously donated this past year) and are now working toward furnishing at making it child friendly!

Through a social and emotional learning (SEL) program, this project will help 1,200 indigenous girls in Chiapas to strengthen their abilities and take care of their emotions in order to prevent gender violence and school drop-out. We are working with small groups in outdoor spaces to provide emotional support to girls, organising workshops, sports and artistic activities and making radio spots in indigenous languages to prevent gender violence.

Feeding the hungry homeless elderly, women, children, leprosy patients, disabled on the streets as part of zero hunger. Every day 100 hungry homeless get food donation, fruits in lunch. In India, many homeless people lives on public places of highways, railway stations and bus stops. Our aim to feed the hungry homeless destitute, abandoned senior citizens, migrant workers. Thousands of people across Myanmar, are displaced, unable to return to their homes. Over 500,000 Rohingya civilians crossed in to Bangladesh to take refuge from Myanmar in recent weeks. There is a dire need of lifesaving healthcare as most of these refugees very sick from long travel, torture, physical and sexual abuse, malnutrition, infections and other ailments.

This project will support 150 youths develop entrepreneurial skills and launch their own businesses in the Kibra Slum. These students have been apart of the high school mentorship program and have been selected to continue into the Entrepreneurial Training program on account of their diligence and hard work. They will also recieve support creating a business plan, registering their business, legal help, connecting to the business community and continued mentorship and professional support.

Curing & preventing blindness in poor Cambodians and their children, can be helped with your donations. Results so far in SE Asia include over 65,000 cataract blind eyes being healed with vision restored. Projects are self sustainable. "HELP US HELP OTHERS,HELP THEMSELVES" uses your kind donations to train & educate local Eye Doctors to treat their own poor people. As members of Leadership Initiatives' [LI] International Internship Program, Arpita, Laura, Dhiya, and Sophia from Olentangy Liberty High School have been working with LI to help create & sustain businesses in Bauchi State, Nigeria. To transform lives, the team & LI are working to build a business development center. At this center, vulnerable men and women will receive training in life, vocational, & business skills to empower & equip them to escape extreme poverty.

The project is build a middle school in Iztapalapa to provide free integral education through 100% scholarships for teenage leaders living in at-risk situations. The first phase is build a classroom and soccer field to start giving sports and arts academies to 30 teenagers who come from the most dangerous and poorest sectors of society in Iztapalapa. We intend to build this middle school to solve the problem of adolescents joining to organized crime, consuming drugs, and school dropout rates.
