Story

Musicians for the World provides free, virtual music education within the most vulnerable areas of the world. We partner with music programs in underserved communities, offering uplifting musical opportunities and providing the tools and support needed to grow. MFW is already offering masterclasses, private lessons, and music theory to over 300 students in Kenya, Belize, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Mexico, Peru, Uganda, Honduras, Guatemala, Philippines, Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico.

Impact

This project will improve the musical skills of thousands of students around the world, allowing them to find music as a safe haven, and succeed in their own musical communities.

Challenge

Musical opportunity is far out of reach for many individuals around the world. There are musicians who wish to learn but do not have the resources or socioeconomic standing to do so. Within these communities, issues such as crime, violence, and drugs are part of everyday life. This is a harsh reality for countless individuals but, through the power of music and education, a safe haven can be created.
