"Forging ways for women & girls in extreme poverty to learn, connect, and lead." We believe that when women and girls learn, they matter. Then everything changes. Through education, leadership training, scholarships and micro-enterprise, females gain voice and agency to contribute positively to their societies and advocate for change that benefits women and girls. MBB currently works with women& girls in rural South Sudan and Malawi, the mountains of Haiti, and the refugee camps of Kenya and Uganda. Though founded by a Catholic nun, MBB is non-sectarian and does not engage in religious activity or promotion.
